Busworld Türkiye 2026 Reinforces Turkey’s Position as a Global Hub for the Bus Industry in its 11th Edition

Busworld has officially launched its specialized international bus and coach exhibition, Busworld Türkiye 2026, in Istanbul, running from June 17 to 19, 2026. This 11th edition underscores the strong momentum and rapid growth of the exhibition, solidifying Turkey’s pivotal role on the global manufacturing and export map.
Remarkable Expansion and Anticipated Records
Building on the exceptional success of the 2024 edition—which attracted over 12,300 professional visitors from 96 countries—the 2026 edition features the largest expansion in the event’s history:
• Increased Space: The exhibition area has been expanded from 9,862 square meters to 11,358 square meters.
• Participants: 161 exhibitors are participating.
• New Faces: The exhibition welcomes around 30 new Turkish exhibitors, alongside notable international participation from China, Germany, Mexico, Italy, and Taiwan.
Return of Giants and a Thriving Supplier Sector
One of the most prominent highlights of the 2026 edition is the return of industry leader Temsa, adding significant weight to the presence of Turkish vehicle manufacturers. Additionally, the supplier sector is experiencing qualitative growth with an influx of foreign and local companies specializing in components, systems, and modern technologies, further reinforcing Turkey’s position as an integrated platform for the global supply chain.
Government Recognition and Broad Sector Support
In a move that reflects the strategic importance of the event, the Turkish Ministry of Trade has included Busworld Türkiye 2026 in its government incentive program. This serves as official recognition of its economic impact in boosting international trade.
The exhibition also enjoys technical and promotional support from major industry organizations, foremost among them:
• İSTAB (Istanbul Transporters Association)
• TÖHOB (All Private Public Buses Association)
• TOF (Bus Operators Federation)
Statement from Management
Vincent Dewaele, General Manager of Busworld International, stated: “We are proud of the continuous growth of the exhibition in Turkey. This is a country that does not just manufacture vehicles, but exports technologies and components to the entire world. We are confident that the 2026 edition will be a true reflection of this industrial power.”
